"I started my first firm, Kulp-Horvath, Inc. with a partner, Ken Horvath, in 2003. Ken and I had worked together and were the best of friends. He eventually was offered positions through CFS that he was unable to turn down, so I purchased his interest and moved forward. We had a wonderful reputation, but Kulp-Horvath, Inc. ended with a sale to Dan Phillips, CPA with the economic downturn of 2008. Our clients were unable to pay their bills, and we were part of the fall-out. I then went to work with my largest client at the time as their controller.

I missed the business so greatly that I started M. Kulp & Co., Inc. within three months. My employer knew and approved of it. I worked nights and weekends and grew the business once again. I am proud to say that we have established a wonderful client base since November 2008 and continue to strive for excellence and comfortable assistance to individuals and small businesses in the surrounding area. We have an environment that lends to teaching our clients and provides them with a non-sterile place to discuss their finances. Having no intention of retiring, I hope to continue these relationships well into my next chapter."

"I have been M Kulp & Co., Inc for 4 years. My experience is in insurance, sales to the RV market, bookkeeping, accounting and tax preparation. I have a BA in Business Administration from Goshen College. I enjoy baking and spending time with my family, friends and my dog."
